Position Overview:Specialty : Obstetrics and Gynecology Start Date : ASAP End Date : Ongoing Practice Setting : Inpatient and Outpatient EMR Systems : eClinicalWorks (eCW) for outpatient care and Meditech for inpatient care Job Responsibilities:Coverage Type : 24-Hour Call CoverageLabor and Delivery : Manage laboring patients, perform inductions, and provide care during the entire childbirth process. Triage Labor Patients : Evaluate and manage patients presenting in labor or with obstetric concerns. ER Consults : Provide expert consultations for obstetric and gynecological emergencies in the Emergency Room. Floor Consults : Manage ongoing inpatient care for established OBGYN patients. Trauma Call : Respond to trauma-related obstetric and gynecological emergencies. Patient Follow-Up : Ensure continuity of care by following up on established OBGYN patients during their inpatient stay.Candidate Requirements:Licensure :Must hold a current Virginia medical license.Certifications :Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
