The ideal candidate is passionate about cannabis, eager to hit goals, and thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.Job DutiesIdentify, contact, and convert new retail partners to carry Bud's products.Serve as the day-to-day contact for dispensaries and build long-term relationships.Deliver compelling product knowledge and educate clients on Bud's offerings and differentiators.Conduct in-person or virtual product demos, presentations, and sampling events.Process purchase orders, track delivery timelines, and ensure customer satisfaction post-sale.Organize travel and outreach within a defined sales territory to maximize efficiency.Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline updates, and client interactions using CRM tools.Report on competitive products, pricing trends, and customer preferences.Ensure all activities adhere to Massachusetts cannabis regulations and Bud's internal SOPs.Represent Bud's at trade shows, pop-ups, and industry events to promote brand awareness.Core Competencies:Ability to create trust based, long term partnerships with real clients and dispensary buyersConfident and clear in explaining product value, handling objectives and closing salesDeep understanding of cannabis products, consumer trends, and regulatory compliance in MassachusettsStrong commitment to understanding client needs and delivering exceptional service and supportEfficiently plan routes, meetings, and follow ups to maximize coverage and productivitySelf-motivate with a hunter mentality – persist in outreach, unshaken by rejection and hungry to exceed goalsKeeps accurate sales records, leverages CRM tools and tracks performance metrics to drive resultsComfort navigating a fast-changing industry with evolving products, regulations and market demandsWorks well with internal teams (marketing, operations, compliance) to deliver seamless customer experiencesActs with integrity and understands the importance of working within the strict legal framework of cannabis salesExperience and Education2–4 years of sales experience, preferably in cannabis, CPG, or a regulated industryTrack record of meeting or exceeding sales goalsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to work independently in a field-based roleFamiliarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft OfficePreferred:Experience in cannabis wholesale salesKnowledge of Massachusetts cannabis compliance regulationsStrong passion for cannabis and understanding of current market trendsAdditional RequirementsMust pass all required background checksMust have a reliable vehicleMust be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industryMust be able to lift 30lbs as neededMust possess valid driver's license and Travel more than 50% of timeMust be a minimum of 21 years of ageMust be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry#ENGHP
