We have an immediate need near Woodbury, CT, for a dedicated provider to cover a critical gap in patient care. This role is ideal for a physician who values flexibility and enjoys working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Position Overview:Location:Near Woodbury, CT Start Date:ASAP (as soon as credentialed) End Date:Ongoing Shift Type:Days, with some weekend and night call requirements FTE:Full-time or part-time depending on availability Assignment Details:Setting:Inpatient consults and outpatient clinic Schedule:Clinic Days:3 days per week (Monday-Friday) from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM On-Call:Infrequent weekend and night call, typically 2-3 weekends per year and a 1:10 night call rotationPatient Demographics:Adults and geriatric patients Patient Load:Inpatient:10 patients per day Outpatient:15 patients per daySpecialty Focus:80% Hematology 20% OncologyTeam Structure:10 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers (APPs) EMR System:Epic Requirements:Board Certification:Must be board-certified in Hematology Oncology. State License:Must hold an active Connecticut state license. Experience:Preferably local candidates; no flights required. Certification Requirements:BLS certification required. Call Schedule:Willingness to participate in weekend and night call is essential.
