On-Call RequirementsOn-call as needed Must be able to report within30 minutes On-call hours:Monday–Friday:16:30–06:00 Weekends & Holidays:06:00–06:00Cath Lab:18 on-call hours per FTE Job Description:QualificationsEducation:Completion of an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Technician Certification (RCVT) program Certifications:BLS & ACLS(AHA only; must be active on Day 1)Experience:Minimum4 yearsfull-time Cardiac Catheterization experience Must have worked at least48 months in the last 60 monthsLicensure:None required Board Certification:Not required Roles & Responsibilities:Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, interventional radiology, and vascular angiography cases Set up procedure rooms and ensure proper PPE usage (standing with up to 25 lbs for extended periods) Support cardiologists during procedures and provide care across multiple cardiopulmonary areas Train and mentor new cath lab and IR technicians Manage, order, and maintain supplies for cardiopulmonary services Clean, store, and maintain equipment and ensure preventive maintenance Ensure patient safety, dignity, and privacy at all times Complete all documentation per MTF & USAF guidelines Recognize abnormal findings and assist in clinical interventions Conduct pre-/post-operative visits and provide patient education Prepare and administer medications (drips, IV pushes, sedatives, vasoactive agents, and emergency meds) Monitor patient responses to medications and intervene as needed Serve asShift Lead Techwhen assigned—responsible for daily housekeeping tasks, crash cart checks, room temperature logs & supply readiness Float to other MTF departments within scope as directed by leadershipAbout Aimic IncAimic provides essential support by connecting healthcare facilities with qualified professionals.
