Experience:Two years clinical RN experience -- acute care setting.Licensure/certification/registration:Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Board certification in area of practice, preferred.Preferred Requirements:Epic Lumens software experience. Master's Degree.Two years demonstrated leadership experience, preferred.Three years clinical RN experience in an acute care setting, preferred. What You'll Do:Oversee daily operations of the Endoscopy unit to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care deliverySupervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff; manage hiring, training, and schedulingDevelop, update, and enforce policies, procedures, and protocols for endoscopy servicesEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and safety guidelinesCoordinate multidisciplinary care involving physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionalsManage budgeting, resource allocation, and inventory of medical supplies and endoscopy equipmentMonitor patient outcomes and quality indicators; lead quality improvement and safety initiativesFacilitate ongoing staff education, training, and professional development specific to endoscopy nursingAddress patient concerns, complaints, and promote patient satisfaction and comfortMaintain accurate and thorough documentation and oversee electronic health records related to proceduresStay current with advances in endoscopy technology, clinical best practices, and integrate innovations into unit protocols
