The job involves major freedom to explore different approaches and iterate quickly, while working on a very high performing team. We are currently hiring for Level 3.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment, testing, qualification of new production equipment to make precision cast componentsOwnership over equipment and process selection, including throughput & cost modelling, technical assessments, and concept designWorking with production, finance, facilities, and leadership to coordinate standup of totally new processes from concept to high volume production.Line support - debugging issues when equipment is downDeveloping process - experimenting with different machine parameters to improve throughput, yield, capability, and reliabilityMinimum Qualifications5 years minimum of professional experience as a manufacturing engineer, process engineer, mechanical engineer, or similarHas been responsible for the Design, Setup, and Commissioning of Complex manufacturing equipment in a production environmentDegree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, electrical engineering, or similar, or evidence of exceptional abilityFamiliarity with common industrial hardware and controls - fittings, connectors, microcontrollers, motion controlExcellent design skillsExperience working with vendors and getting designs manufacturedPreferred Skills/ExperienceExperience with precision casting, heat treatment, ceramics manufacturing, slurry processingExperience in AS9100 Aerospace manufacturingExperience in high volume manufacturingExperience with SLA printingWorked for a high-growth tech company / start-upAdditional RequirementsMust be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as neededMust be able to establish procedures for providing 24/7 on-call support for critical business activities and emergency situationsSummary Pay RangePlease note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline.
