The role offers a unique work schedule of six months on and six months off, with a competitive salary of $225,000, excellent federal benefits, and a low patient load. Physicians will work in a state-of-the-art facility and multiple village clinics, providing quality care and promoting wellness for indigenous populations.Internal Medicine Physician for Clinic in Remote Alaska We are tribally owned and operated, independent, not-for profit health care organization founded in 1970 to meet the health care needs of the Inupiat, Siberian Yupik and Yupikpeople of the Being Strait region. Our organization is governed by a twenty four member board of directors who represent all communities and areas of the Bering Strait region which is a 44,000 square-mile section of Northwestern Alaska.Our organization puts the patient first, this principle applies equally at our state of the art facility opened in 2013 and at the 15 village clinics managed by our team.Every day our 500 employees about 72% of them Alaska Native demonstrate their commitment to our mission: providing quality health services and promoting wellness within our people and environment.Our organization is an exciting and fulfilling place to work.
