As the Associate Director of Product Management for Applied Machine Learning, you’ll lead the charge in creating AI-driven products that transform customer experiences. From personalization to cybersecurity and fraud prevention, you’ll shape solutions that make technology more human and impactful. If you love blending strategy, innovation, and technical depth, this role is for you.This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.What you’ll doDrive the vision and roadmap for machine learning products across multiple domains Partner with ML scientists, engineers, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions Prioritize features and manage agile development using tools like JIRA Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans Ensure products meet customer needs and create measurable business value Lead and mentor a high-performing product teamBasic qualificationsBachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience 4 years in product management 3 years in people leadership Proven experience building ML/AI products Prior experience managing/tracking agile development over JIRA boards Strong communication skills across technical and business audiencesPreferred qualificationsMBA or Master’s degree 8+ years of related experience Hands-on background in ML engineering or software development Experience with ML product development on GCP or AWS Open-source contributions or GitHub portfolioWhat’s in it for you We’re committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
