Regional Sales Engineer, Air Handlers

Johnson Controls, a pioneering force in smart building technologies and solutions, is looking for a Regional Sales Engineer focused on Air Handlers within the HVAC sector. This role is crucial for promoting and facilitating the adoption of our innovative air handling products across various markets. The successful candidate will engage directly with customers to solve complex needs with technically sound solutions, propelling forward building efficiency and sustainability goals. Develop and execute strategic sales plans within the region to enhance client acquisition and retention. Identify market trends and customer needs, proposing appropriate products and custom solutions. Conduct detailed product demonstrations and presentations to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to understand product specifications and features. Manage the sales process from inquiry through to sale completion, ensuring a smooth customer journey. Maintain expertise in air handling technology and market trends to provide thought leadership and insightful recommendations to clients. Provide regular reports on sales forecasts, market conditions, and competitive analysis. Offer exceptional after-sales support, fostering long-term client relationships. Strong foundational knowledge of HVAC systems and specifically air handling units. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to translate complex technical details into clear, customer-friendly language.
