Tender Touch Rehab Services, a leader in providing comprehensive rehabilitation therapy services, is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves assisting physical therapists in administering treatments and therapies for patients to improve their mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. Our ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering patients recovery and adherence to prescribed therapies. Assist physical therapists in implementing specific treatment plans. Measure and track patients' progress and adjust treatments accordingly under the supervision of a physical therapist. Educate patients and family members about treatments, exercises, and maintenance of health and wellness. Maintain patient documentation and treatment records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Operate and maintain therapy equipment safely and efficiently. Participate in patient assessments and contribute to discussions about patient care plans. Assist with patient mobility, physical therapies, and exercises. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of therapeutic and rehabilitation techniques Ability to follow detailed instructions Capable of handling physical demands such as moving or assisting patients Proficiency in using therapy equipment Organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate patient records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Licensed or certified as a Physical Therapist Assistant where applicable CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred but not mandatory
