Job Description Job Description SUMMARY The Slot Performance Manager is responsible for is responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, and performance of all slot machines and related gaming equipment. As head of the slot technician team, the manager will ensure regulatory, safety, and operational standards are met while maximizing the efficiency and profitability of the floor through analysis and strategic planning. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the team of slot technicians responsible for installation, placement, configuration, testing, and preventive maintenance of slot machines and gaming devices. Ensure all slot machine operations comply with local, state, and federal gaming regulations. Maintain accurate documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting. Enforce strict adherence to SOPs and safety protocols. Coordinate with vendors and team to procure slot product, parts, upgrades, and field support. Effectively schedule to meet business demands and manage labor costs. Approve weekly time and attendance. Lead the team of slot technicians by example, role modeling our Values and support of our Mission. Support department goals and create actionable steps to work toward attaining these. Interview, select, and train new slot technicians. Develop slot technicians utilizing established training programs ensuring proficiency at each level through continuous skill building and assessment. Maintain accurate and timely performance management documentation including both corrective and positive feedback for technicians on all shifts. Ensure all department procedures are met during daily operations. Maintain accurate revenue and expense records and ensure department meets monthly budget. Conduct monthly P&L reviews for the department. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Step in as a working Manager whenever staffing levels or business demands require. Work during the required core schedule and be flexible to change shifts as needed. This includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Works physically onsite to manage business and interact personally with team members, vendors and guests. Must live within 30 minutes of property. REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES Extensive knowledge of slot machine technology, electronics, and gaming systems. Strong understanding of gaming regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact and communicate effectively in both group and individual settings, and to collaborate with all levels of the organization on projects and daily needs. Must be fully competent in the use of a computer including Microsoft Office Suite and have experience with industry-related software. Ability to read, analyze, and act upon complex documents and reports. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions. Experience supervising or managing a slot technician team preferred. Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a safe driving record. PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS Frequently required to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally required to lift or move up to 75 pounds. May occasionally be required to push or pull up to 350 pounds. This casino has an enclosed gaming area where smoking is allowed. Team members may be exposed to a smoking environment in or around this designated smoking area. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit. Using hands grasp, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, bend, kneel, and crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, increasing to loud when on the casino floor. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
