Johnson Controls, a pioneering force in smart building technologies, is seeking a dynamic HVAC Sales Account Representative to join our dedicated sales team. This role is pivotal in driving the sales of innovative HVAC solutions that enhance building efficiency, sustainability, and security across various markets. The successful candidate will leverage their industry knowledge and sales expertise to expand our client base and ensure customer satisfaction through top-quality service and products. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to expand sales territory. Present, promote and sell Johnson Controls HVAC products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers. Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs. Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and perform effective follow-up. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction. Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule. Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments. Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports. Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. Proven ability to negotiate and close sales. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business relationships. Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales. Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills. Time management and organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Optional but beneficial: Certification from the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Sales training certifications such as SPIN Selling, Strategic Selling, or similar.
