Job Title: Cath Lab Tech - Endovascular Profession: Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in procedure area License: RT or equivalent OR RCIS required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in complex procedures such as EVAR, PMEG/TAMBE, and complex hybrid cath lab/OR procedures. Experience with endovascular procedures with cardiothoracic surgeons. Experience performing cases in a hybrid OR setting. Description: This contract is for 13 or 26 weeks. Applicants must have experience in complex procedures such as EVAR, PMEG/TAMBE, and complex hybrid cath lab/OR procedures including open and closed techniques. Some examples may include but are not limited to peripheral stenting with endarterectomy/peripheral bypassing procedures. Interviews will not take place without having this experience confirmed prior. The unit typically handles 1-2 cases per day. Patient types include adults. Common diagnoses and procedure types include open and closed procedures, TAMBE, TCAR, TEVAR, TAVR, TMVR, and AIFF. On-call coverage is 24 hours. Likely on-call every other to every third night. Weekend rotation flexibility is needed, likely working every other or every third weekend. Holiday expectations likely include working every other holiday. Scrubs will be provided. The culture in the unit emphasizes flexibility and a willingness to learn.
