This role is pivotal in driving excellence and enhancing operational efficiencies across all transportation services. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a robust background in performance metrics and process improvement within the transportation and shipping sector. Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive performance management systems to monitor and enhance service efficiency. Lead the analysis and reporting of operational data to identify trends, forecast needs, and drive organizational improvements. Collaborate with senior management to establish performance objectives aligning with company goals and regulatory standards. Design and deliver training programs focused on advanced performance metrics and continuous improvement strategies for staff across various departments. Manage cross-functional teams to implement best practices in quality management and operational excellence. Provide regular, detailed reports to executive leadership on performance outcomes and improvement plans. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding transportation operations. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in performance management software and tools. Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and guiding teams. In-depth knowledge of transportation logistics and regulatory requirements. Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to develop strategic plans and translate them into actionable goals. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Certified Performance Management Professional (CPMP) or similar is highly advantageous.
