TruckPro, LLC is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Service Writer to enhance our customer service and operational efficiency by effectively managing service requests, generating accurate work orders, and ensuring seamless communication between our customers and service technicians. With decades of experience in the heavy-duty truck and trailer parts industry, TruckPro, LLC provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and automotive services, coupled with technical knowledge specific to heavy-duty vehicles. Greet customers and initiate detailed conversations to understand their service needs Translate customer service requests into detailed and precise work orders for technicians Coordinate scheduling of service appointments to optimize workflow and technician availability Provide customers with timely updates on the status of their service requests Handle service invoices and processing customer payments Maintain accurate records of all service interactions, work orders, and transactions Ensure customer satisfaction through post-service follow-ups Collaboratively work with parts department to ensure availability of necessary parts Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to understand and translate technical information Proficient in using service management software and computer systems Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is desirable Additional certifications in automotive service management or related fields are a plus
