As a Trailer Technician/Mechanic at NCU, your work ensures the reliability and readiness of our fleet used in the electricity, water, and natural gas supply segments. This position provides a dynamic work environment where each day offers new challenges and opportunities to demonstrate your technical expertise and problem-solving skills. Perform routine and emergency maintenance on a variety of service trailers used for utility operations. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems within the fleet, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. Order and maintain inventory control of necessary parts and supplies. Document maintenance procedures and repairs in compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Communicate effectively with the management team and fleet operators to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities. Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to recommend upgrades and efficiencies. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Strong understanding of preventive maintenance processes and equipment integrity checks. Ability to operate diagnostic instruments and tools used in trailer maintenance. Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously and maintaining detailed records. Strong communication and teamwork skills, essential for coordinating with other departments and team members. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence) in areas such as Medium-Heavy Truck Technician is highly desirable. Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
