Your Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness and organization of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Assist with food prep and ingredient handling to support our chefs and line cooks. Uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Health Benefits and 401k with company match EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: Previous kitchen experience preferred. Applicants have the opportunity to learn additional positions as they grow with us. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear Must be able to constantly stand and walk for extended periods of time, at least 8 hours, and traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly Must be able to lift, handle, and carry (e.g. food, small wares, equipment, supplies and paper goods) at a minimum of 50 pounds Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat on a frequent basis Must be able to taste, be able to distinguish between and among flavors, spices, and scents as to their appeal and level of intensity for all food and beverage products Must be able to read recipe books, guides, measuring equipment, scales, kitchen monitors, and receipt printers Must be able to understand basic kitchen commands and training WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to work around changing of schedules, which includes being available to work throughout the day, weekends, and holidays, as required Must be able to work in an environment subject to loud noises from restaurant equipment and machinery, fumes, odors, dust and smoke Temperature extremes range from working in hot kitchen over 90 degrees Fahrenheit to working in a walk-in fridge of 40 degree Fahrenheit NOTE: The information here does not constitute a contract, express or implied.
