Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. A Special Education Teacher position is available in St. Paul, MN, focused on supporting elementary students (K-5) with Autism and other cognitive disorders. This contract role for the current school year involves working with small groups of approximately seven students per classroom, supported by three paraprofessionals. The students are plex municators who require specialized instruction tailored to their individual learning goals, including academics, functional skills, adaptive skills, and social/emotional learning. Responsibilities: Design and implement individualized instruction and strategies to meet the unique needs of each student Develop, write, and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with related service providers Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and other staff to ensure coordinated support Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student development Qualifications: Tier 3 Minnesota Department of Education License in Special Education is required Experience working with students with Autism and cognitive disorders preferred Ability to write and implement IEPs and work effectively with related service staff Strong munication skills and patience working with plex municators Location: Elementary School setting in St. Paul, Minnesota Benefits and Perks: Health benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage offered 401(k) retirement savings option available through Principal Financial petitive hourly pay range from $40 to $45 This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with plex learning needs.
