Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position with night shifts, telemetry skills, and multi-state licensure requirements.

Responsibilities
Position is at a community hospital on a Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit Patient ratio is 1:5 with a mix of adult medical and post-cath patients 16-bed ICU within a 240-bed hospital Night shifts, 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts per week from 18:45 to 07:15 Must work 8 weekend shifts within each 6-week schedule, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays Frequent floating between departments, units, and facilities required as needed No on-call responsibilities Epic is used for charting and EMR Provide care for adult med/surg telemetry and post-cath patients May be assigned holiday shifts and temporary charge RN responsibilities as needed First-time travelers are welcome to apply Navy scrubs required for all shifts Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted during contract Free parking on-site Must complete pre-hire and annual compliance modules prior to start Drug screening required; positive or diluted results may disqualify candidates No travel partners accepted for this assignment

Requirements
Active MO and KS RN licenses or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration Minimum of 2 years recent specialty experience required, with at least 1 year of continuous in-specialty experience in the past 12 months and no employment gaps over 90 days in the past year Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required Proven experience in medical/surgical telemetry nursing including on-unit telemetry monitoring Two professional references from the past year, including one supervisor or above and one charge RN Must not reside within 75 miles of the facility No pending licenses accepted
