Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 01/10/2026 Duration: 17 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel . Job Details Role: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Facility: UW Health – University Hospital Location: Madison, WI Unit: Operating Room – Tier 7 (Eyes/ENT/Plastics) Start Date: 01/05/2026 Shift: Day shift, 3×12 hours (06:40–19:10), Monday–Friday Duration: 17 weeks Call: Weekday, weekend & holiday call required Local Radius: Must live 50 miles away Requirements 2 years scrub experience (required) Must have ENT, Plastics & Ophthalmology experience – HARDSTOP Must be comfortable with gender reassignment surgical patients Trauma Level II experience required; Level I preferred Teaching hospital experience preferred BLS (AHA only) required CST certification preferred Experience with: ENT (sinus procedures, mastoidectomy, tracheostomy, radical neck, etc.) Plastics (abdominoplasty, DIEP flap, breast reconstruction, free flaps) Ophthalmology (vitrectomy, open globe repair, cataracts) Must complete a surgical tech program OR have 2 years equivalent experience Job Highlights Work in a Magnet-designated, 1 ranked hospital in Wisconsin High-volume surgical department with advanced equipment (Constellation, Straight Shot, NIM, Stryker Navigation, etc.) Exposure to complex cases: ENT, Eye, Plastics, Cochlear implants Travelers float first—may work in multiple units based on staffing needs Call every 4–5 weekends (estimated) Flu vaccine required; COVID vaccine not required K16 About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
