Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a weekend overnight position requiring ARRT and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
Position is based in a hospital setting Schedule is Friday through Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with 12-hour shifts Assignment lasts 13 weeks with 36 hours per week Performs ultrasound imaging procedures and maintains accurate records in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards Responsible for equipment quality control procedures and reporting deficiencies No local candidates within 25 miles of the facility will be considered Weekend overnight position with a supportive hospital team environment
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required, diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology required BS or MS in Healthcare preferred Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in a U.S. hospital Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Ultrasound Technologist license required (license required if applicable) Active AHA BLS certification required CPI certification mandated by position Must provide Social Security Number for consideration Two manager or supervisor references verifying recent experience preferred, with at least one from most recent employer
