Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An immediate opening is available for a Special Education Teacher to support K-5 students in an elementary school setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a resource classroom with students who have a range of disabilities. The role requires 35-40 hours per week throughout the contract school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in collaboration with staff and families Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Maintain classroom management and create a positive learning environment Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive education Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with elementary students (K-5) in a resource classroom setting Strong understanding of disabilities and effective instructional strategies Excellent munication and collaboration skills Ability to maintain professionalism and adapt to various classroom situations Location: Midland, Michigan This contract position is ideal for candidates passionate about fostering student growth in a supportive environment.
