Quality Control Inspector

Job Description Job Description Job Summary The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for testing, inspecting, and verifying the performance of Phiston machines before they reach our customers. This role combines hands-on mechanical testing with quality documentation , making it a hybrid technical/QC position. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical, electrical, and functional testing on machines during and after assembly. Inspect and verify parts, components, and final units using measurement tools (calipers, gauges, multimeters, etc.). Troubleshoot mechanical issues and collaborate with engineering and production teams. Document test results, inspection findings, and non-conformance reports. Assist in updating QC procedures, work instructions, and testing protocols. Ensure all products meet Phiston’s quality standards and engineering specifications. Qualifications 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical, electromechanical, or technical QC roles. Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working directly with machines or equipment. Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Comfortable using hand tools, test equipment, and measurement devices. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment. Preferred Skills Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or hardware testing. Knowledge of quality systems or ISO standards. Basic electrical troubleshooting experience. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 30–50 lbs regularly. Ability to stand and perform hands-on work for extended periods.
