Palm Health Resources is hiring an experienced Cardiothoracic PA to join our thriving program in beautiful Northern CA 6+ Month Locum Contract Full Time Full Continuum of Care position with OR, ICU and Clinic. Will consider perm and locum candidates The position is very autonomous and performing at a high level of acuity and responsibility.OR assisting for both Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery cases including Endoscopic Vein Harvesting using the MAquet VasoView Hemepro 2 system.Performance of bedside procedures including thoracentesis, chest tube placement, arterial lines and central venous accessDaily duties to be split 50/50 with current PA. Working as a team the candidate will alternate daily between the OR and non-surgical duties.Currently 2 surgeons and 1 PA doing ~100+ hearts a year plus about the same number of thoracic cases annually.Endoscopic Vein Harvesting: 1 year (Required)Cardiac Surgery First Assist: 1 year (Required)Weekend and evening call coverage (Required)Office-based pre-op H&P and post-op recovery of both Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery patients including, OR and CVICUExperience:Provider must be proficient in Cardiac Surgery First Assisting in OR cases and proficient in EVH.  California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards.We have Perm and Locum Tenen Openings with some of the country's top cardiac surgery programs Our locums are treated like a family member Premium Pay $120-160 per hour, plus 1.5 X overtime over 40 hours, premium on call pay, paid housing and travel, Virtual Credit Cards-Autonomy to chose housing, Top Rated Paid Mal Practice and Personal Attention to every last need If we don't have the location of your choice, we receive new openings on a weekly basis If interested, please inquire for details on the specific location(s) that intrigue you.
