Patient Safety Officer (RN) – Acute Care Hospital ARC Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Patient Safety Officer in our client’s acute care hospital. In this role, you’ll lead patient safety programs, conduct clinical reviews, participate in key hospital committees, and ensure compliance with California Department of Public Health (CDPH) reporting standards. Comp: 153K – $179K Los Angeles, CA Full-Time   Key Responsibilities Lead patient safety initiatives, including falls, medication safety, and risk prevention. Conduct chart reviews, root cause analysis, and safety event reporting. Partner with hospital leadership and frontline teams to improve patient outcomes. Monitor and report patient safety metrics; support quality improvement activities. Act as subject matter expert on safety regulations and serve as interim Director of Risk when needed. Qualifications Active California RN license (required). 5+ years of acute care RN experience (adult critical care, med-surg, or ED strongly preferred). 3+ years of leadership or patient safety/risk management experience. Strong skills in chart review, clinical assessment, and event investigation. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field (Master’s preferred). Preferred Skills ASHRM certification (CPHRM). Experience with TEAMSTEPPS, root cause analysis, and California reporting requirements. Prior service on hospital safety committees (falls, medication safety, etc.).   Why Join Us?
