Oversee engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes, efficiency, and product quality. Provide expert technical guidance and problem-solving for complex production challenges. Manage the engineering department budget, resources, and technology roadmap. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and R&D teams to optimize operations. Ensure all engineering designs and processes comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field. 5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing engineering teams and projects within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing processes, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives. Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept through implementation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical and operational issues. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies such as robotics, automation, or IoT. Proficiency in ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex). Demonstrated experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) processes or Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
