Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code programs. Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Adjust machine offsets, tooling, and programming to maintain tight tolerances and optimize production. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts efficiently. Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machines and tooling. Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or production issues. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T. Demonstrated understanding of G-code and M-code for program editing and troubleshooting. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) for quality inspection. Experience with tool selection, offset adjustments, and basic machine maintenance.
