Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts for raw materials, components, and services. Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock and support production schedules. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements in the procurement process. Ensure the timely acquisition of materials to prevent production delays. Mitigate supply chain risks and ensure continuity of supply for critical items. Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of progressive purchasing or supply chain management experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven expertise in vendor negotiation, contract management, and strategic sourcing. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for procurement and inventory management. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and lean principles. Bonus Qualifications Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for supply chain optimization. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience with international sourcing and global supply chain management. Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for spend analysis and forecasting.
