Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize IT infrastructure and systems supporting manufacturing operations (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA). Ensure high availability and reliability of critical production systems and network infrastructure. Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies to protect operational technology (OT) and intellectual property. Lead IT projects for technology upgrades, system integrations, and digital transformation initiatives on the plant floor. Provide technical support and problem resolution for manufacturing-specific hardware and software issues. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency and quality. Manage IT vendor relationships and procurement for manufacturing-related software, hardware, and services. Ensure IT systems comply with industry regulations and internal quality standards relevant to manufacturing. Recommended Qualifications Experience managing IT operations, infrastructure, and strategic planning within a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and manufacturing execution systems (MES/SCADA). Proven ability to lead IT projects, manage budgets, and drive IT/OT convergence initiatives. Strong background in cybersecurity strategies, including protecting industrial control systems and critical manufacturing data. Demonstrated experience in vendor management and optimizing IT service delivery for production environments. Bonus Qualifications Experience with major manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS, Infor LN). Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) environments, including SCADA, MES, and PLC systems. Knowledge of Industry 4.0 principles and technologies (IoT, AI/ML, automation in manufacturing). Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS/OT security).
