Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, incorporating production volumes and cost drivers. Perform detailed variance analysis of actual vs. budget/forecast for production costs, COGS, labor, and overheads. Analyze manufacturing costs, including standard costing, bill of materials, and production variances, to identify efficiency improvements. Prepare comprehensive financial reports and performance dashboards for manufacturing operations and executive leadership. Conduct financial analysis for capital expenditure projects, evaluating ROI, payback period, and strategic alignment for plant investments. Monitor and analyze inventory levels, turns, and valuation, identifying potential risks or opportunities related to production and demand. Partner with operations and supply chain teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making for cost optimization and operational efficiency. Recommended Qualifications Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and variance analysis in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for financial data extraction and analysis. Ability to analyze operational data and manufacturing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify cost efficiencies. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting manufacturing financial performance.
