The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Norton Shores region seeking Quality Supervisors. Key Responsibilities Supervise and train a team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians. Oversee all incoming, in-process, and final product quality inspections and testing. Investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Ensure strict adherence to quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate quality records, documentation, and prepare performance reports. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage the calibration and maintenance schedule for all quality control equipment. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory responsibilities. Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and core quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D). Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop a team of quality technicians or inspectors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision making. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration and reporting. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Bonus Qualifications Six Sigma Black Belt or ASQ CQM/OE certification. Experience with specific industry regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, AS9100, IATF 16949). Proficiency in QMS software (e.g., MasterControl) or ERP quality modules (e.g., SAP QM). Demonstrated application of Lean manufacturing principles.
