Note This position requires at least 1 year of New York litigation experience and hands on familiarity with NYSCEF e filing. Job Description Serve as the attorneys primary litigation support from intake through resolutionManage case deadlines, calendars, and workflow to keep matters moving efficientlyDraft pleadings including complaints, answers, and counterclaimsPrepare and respond to discovery demands, subpoenas, and disclosuresDraft and organize motion papers including notices, affirmations, memoranda of law, and exhibitsPerform legal and factual research as neededHandle NYSCEF filings and ensure compliance with New York court proceduresCommunicate professionally with courts, opposing counsel, and self represented partiesMaintain organized, complete, and up to date case filesProvide regular updates to clients and help build strong client relationshipsIdentify opportunities to improve systems and overall firm efficiency Qualifications 1 or more years of experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant in New YorkExperience supporting civil or commercial litigation mattersWorking knowledge of New York court rules, filings, and motion practiceExperience with NYSCEF e filingStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Word including formatting and track changesComfortable working with PDFs, document management, and Google WorkspaceHighly organized, detail oriented, and deadline drivenSelf starter who takes initiative and follows through Why Youll Love Working Here You are trusted to run with your work and be relied uponYour ideas and input are valued, not ignoredThe firm is growing and wants you to grow with itProfessional environment with personality and approachabilityStrong benefits and consistent workflow JPC-600 Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceRequirements: 2+ yrs litigation exp.
