The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Delta Township seeking CNC Machinists who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs. Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality. Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from CNC machinery. Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting. Adjust machine settings to control speed, feed, and depth of cut. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications. Solid understanding of G-code and M-code programming, including editing and optimizing. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality control. Experience with tool selection, offsets, and routine machine maintenance. Strong shop math and problem-solving abilities.
