This is a NON CDL position located in Santa Fe Springs, CACredentials and ExperienceMust have at least 1-2 years of Trailer Spotting or Driver experience.Position Summary: Stage and relocate trailers in a safe efficient manner to avoid damage. Keep the yard organized and orderly. Maintain constant communication with Dock Operations and Dispatch. Being aware of all activity in the yard and reporting damage, problems or any suspicious circumstances.Please reach out to Lisa Medlin @ 708-483-4721- or email your resume to lisa.medlin@gocdn.comDuties and Responsibilities:Spotting trailers to and from the platform.Maintaining drop areas of the yard.Performing yard checks.Sealing loads.Fueling.Control of all yard activity.Inspects equipment for suitability.Assist on the platform if needed.Performs other duties as required.Ensuring all doors are closed when spotted in the yard. If loaded trailer must be sealed prior to driver picking up the load.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Valid driver's license.Knowledge of basic tractor functions.Knowledge of basic dock procedure.Ability to identify, report on recurring problems/safety issues.
