Our team is energetic, compassionate, and committed to providing inclusive, play-based, and strengths-focused services for children and their families.This role is offered through Exploration Kids Therapy in Delta. You will primarily serve children referred by pediatricians, partner clinics, and early intervention networks.Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) Role:We are seeking a passionate, neurodiversity-affirming Physical Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy for children with diverse developmental needs. In this role, you will:Deliver skilled pediatric physical therapy services in-person.Work with children who experience gross motor delays, neuromuscular conditions, developmental coordination disorder, sensory-motor challenges, and related diagnoses.Create and implement personalized treatment plans targeting motor development, postural control, functional mobility, and adaptive movement.Engage in play-based therapy that honors child autonomy and supports family priorities.Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, behavior analysts, and mental health clinicians.Support families through caregiver coaching and individualized home programming.Utilize clinic resources including adaptive equipment, sensory-motor tools, and open play areas.What You Can Expect as a PT at Our Clinic:Steady caseload with consistent client attendance.Administrative support for billing, scheduling, and documentation compliance.Access to treatment equipment and child-friendly therapy spaces.Opportunities to mentor students or new graduates (if desired).Participation in an interdisciplinary team that values physical therapy and collaborative care.Flexibility in scheduling and a team culture that prioritizes boundaries and well-being.Qualifications:Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Valid Colorado state licensure (or eligibility).Pediatric experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training and a passion for neurodiversity-affirming care are encouraged to apply.Knowledge of early motor development, pediatric conditions, and play-based intervention strategies.Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.Commitment to client dignity, safety, and self-determination.Why Join Us?Positive clinic culture with a commitment to inclusion and mutual respect.True work-life balance—daytime hours only, no evenings or weekends required. This means we deliver applied behavioral analysis therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and individual mental health counseling to neurodiverse children ages 1-7. Neurodiversity includes diagnoses such as global developmental delays, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and learning disorders. Ours is a trauma informed model with assent based practices. This means, we respect the boundaries and feelings of our learners, honor their ability to say no or not engage, allow them to fully be themselves, and only teach skills their parents agree to that honor their uniqueness. Our learners grow through play-based interventions, which helps them develop valuable skills they can use later in school and life. Our learners engage in crafts, circle time, quiet time, group lunches, music and movement, and other special activities together. Swann Clinic is a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE).
