Industrial PainterJob Summary: Painters are responsible for applying coatings to finished fabricated products in accordance with job requirements. This role involves operating painting equipment, reading and interpreting printed paint sheets to determine which color to choose. Must meet production deadlines while delivering quality results. Painters are also expected to follow company policies and safety procedures to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.Responsibilities:Scrape old decals and labels off as well as any rust that might interfere with paint coatingApply paint coatings to finished fabricated productsUse proper safety equipment, paint equipment, paint and primer, and assure that surfaces are adequately prepared for painting all operationsAlign & Apply labels / stickers to finished product once dryMaintain shop, equipment, tools, etc. for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of itemsCoordinate with shop supervisor and other personnel for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently, on time, and with no defectsAdheres to safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and surrounding coworkersPerforms other related duties as assignedRequirements: Must be able to read, write, and comprehend EnglishAble to apply paint coatings to fabricated material per requirementsAble to adapt to work priorities, communicate well, meet deadlines and schedules, and work as part of a teamExperience in industrial painting; a plusWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
