Designer (Plant 3D / Civil 3D) Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid) Duration: 1-Year Contract, potential extension Pay Rate: $45–$48/hour DOEOverview We are seeking a Designer with strong Plant 3D and Civil 3D experience to support utility infrastructure design projects in Los Angeles. This role is ideal for a technically strong designer who thrives in a collaborative, project-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:Review and maintain design data and existing models.Support model inquiries and design updates.Follow established design standards and workflows.Collaborate with engineers and project teams.Assist with design reviews and project documentation.Required Skills & Experience:Proficiency in Plant 3D and Civil 3D.Experience with Google Earth and KMZ files.Familiarity with piping design and layout.Strong attention to detail and communication skills.3–5 years of experience as a Designer, Drafter, or related role.Stable work history with verifiable software experience.Preferred:Power Apps experience.Schedule:Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week.First 2 months onsite Monday, Tuesday, Thursday for training.After training, Monday required, remaining onsite days flexible.Worksite will transition to San Dimas in late 2026.This is a strong opportunity to support essential utility projects while continuing to build advanced technical design skills.
