Position Title: Registered Dental Hygienist Job Type: Full-Time, PermanentJob Description:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work with an innovative practice that values professional growth, teamwork, and exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health by performing cleanings, screenings, and preventive care in accordance with state dental practice laws.Key Responsibilities:Welcome and prepare patients for dental hygiene treatment.Perform dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins.Conduct oral cancer screenings and assess for periodontal disease and other oral health conditions.Expose, develop, and interpret radiographs.Apply fluoride and other decay-preventing agents.Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative care.Assist the dentist in managing dental and medical emergencies; maintain CPR certification and emergency readiness.Record vital signs, medical and dental histories, and treatment information accurately in patient records.Maintain dental equipment by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues.Monitor and manage dental supply inventory.Stay current with dental hygiene best practices by attending continuing education courses and professional workshops.Requirements:License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Required).New graduates welcome to apply.Knowledge of dental hygiene techniques, infection control, and preventive care.Strong communication and patient education skills.Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to recommend appropriate dental hygiene products and support patient compliance.
