Live-In Weekend Family Assistant (PT)Job #: J2003.THIS IS A LIVE-IN POSITIONLive-In Details: Bedroom Available.Days: Saturday morning - Monday morning.Hours: 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM (1 hour break during the day).Compensation: $1200 per week.Start Date: ASAPA Red Bank, NJ family is seeking a Weekend Family Assistant to help with childcare and light household support. Responsibilities include driving children to activities, assisting with homework, light cooking and cleanup, children’s laundry, organizing closets, and helping with pets. The ideal candidate is reliable, kind, and enjoys creating a positive, organized home environment. There are two large dogs, cat, small tortoises and fish tanks Main Work Duties:Drive children to and from activities and appointments.Encourage respectful, responsible behavior and helpful habits around the home.Assist with meal preparation and light cooking for the family.Clean and tidy kitchen surfaces, dishes, and cookware.Perform light housekeeping, including making beds and guiding children to make theirs.Handle children’s laundry, including washing, folding, and organizing.Assist with organizing closets and maintaining household order.Manage household tasks such as opening packages and putting items away.Help care for family pets, including feeding and letting them outside.Support children with homework, reading, and learning activities.Required Qualities:Warm and nurturing.Responsible and reliableOrganized and detail-orientedProactive and helpfulFlexible and adaptablePatient and calmDiscreet and trustworthyPet-friendlyGood communicator.Requirements:Minimum 3+ solid years of family assistant experience working in a private home.Excellent references from both current and previous employers.Ability to work independently.Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
