YORK INSURANCE AGENCY, INC. 8 Memorial Highway, New Rochelle, NY 10801 Tel: (914) 636-6018 Email: juan@york-insurance.netYork Insurance Agency is looking for a licensed and experienced P&C insurance agent/ producer.Job Summary: Producer should have experience quoting and selling the following products: Personal Auto, Commercial Auto, Workers' Compensation, Statutory Disability, General Liability, etc.Major Responsibilities:Act as a liaison between insureds and insurance companies as necessary.Provide insured(s) with timely and periodic status updates of their insurance policy.Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records, and/or other documents for recurring internal reports.File System Management:Compile document files and enter information into the office data management system.Assure that all insureds’ files are complete and in compliance with regulatory agencies and internal policies.Administrative Support:Process the documents received for each file.Verify the accuracy and completeness of each document.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:Ability to provide excellent customer service in person and on the phone.Ability to handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions.Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and courtesy.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Bilingual – Fluent in English and Spanish.Excellent records and file management skills.Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Gmail, Adobe Professional.Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
