Our team is driven by a commitment to excellence, and we’re looking for an experienced Refrigeration Service Technician to join us in delivering reliable, high-quality refrigeration services to our clients.What You’ll Do:As a Refrigeration Service Technician, you’ll take on advanced service and maintenance tasks for commercial refrigeration systems. Your role will include:Diagnosing and repairing complex commercial refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems, i.e. ice machines, walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in coolers and freezers, glycol systems.Conducting preventive maintenance and ensuring systems operate at peak performance.Installing and commissioning new refrigeration equipment, calibrating controls, and verifying functionality.Performing refrigerant recovery, leak testing, and compliance tasks in line with EPA standards.Providing expert technical support and recommendations to customers for system improvements.Maintaining detailed service records and documentation for every job.Why Join Us?Competitive Pay & Benefits: Enjoy a great salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.Professional Growth: Access ongoing training, certifications, and opportunities for advancement.Supportive Team: Work with a dedicated team that values your skills and expertise.Dynamic Work Environment: Tackle diverse challenges in commercial and industrial settings.What We’re Looking For:Experience: At least 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration.Certifications: EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal) is required.Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities, advanced technical knowledge, and proficiency with diagnostic tools, ability to read and use schematics to diagnose issues.Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade school certification is preferred.Physical Ability: Capable of lifting 75 pounds and working in various environments, including cold storage, rooftops, and tight spaces.Work Environment:You’ll work on-site at client locations, sometimes in extreme temperatures or tight spaces, ensuring systems run safely and efficiently.
