About the JobJob Description:Our EMT and PARAMEDIC shifts typically run 36 to 48 hours per week across all locations. We are a ground ambulance service. We have great opportunities for growth and developmentJob Duties:Provide standard PARAMEDIC skills to care for patients.Maintain communication effectively and efficiently with Co-workers and dispatch.Clear and professional interactions and communication with Hospital and nursing staff.Deliver compassionate care to patients and their families.Maintain a professional appearance and behavior.License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Paramedic Certification (Required)Critical care license ( Required)IDPH license (Preferred)Health care provider CPR Certification (Preferred)Job Requirements:IDPH / NREMT Certification Required.MUST HAVE CRITICAL CARE LICENSE: REQUIRED.MUST HAVE PARAMEDIC LICENSE: REQUIREDIllinois Driver's license in good standing.Requires high school diploma or equivalentFit for duty ( push/pull / lift/ squat/ stand/ sit)Must pass Pre-Employment PhysicalRETAINING THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS IS A-TEC’S GOAL.
