Federal Construction Superintendent

Superintendent:Outside The Box, LLC is currently looking to hire a Superintendent for the Charleston, SC area. To be considered as a candidate you must have a minimum of 5 years experience in federal construction, specifically with site work/utility experience.The Superintendent coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality, and supervising all trade and field personnel while administering good construction safety practices with all onsite activities. Maintains the job site office and closes out projects.As a Superintendent, you will meet with the Project Manager as soon as the job is awarded to review and plan for materials, safety, labor and equipment budgets, and other issues.You will conduct preliminary job site visits as necessary for job preparation.You will meet regularly with your manager to review the progress of ongoing jobs and to discuss problems that are outside of your authority.You will be responsible for training workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policies.
