At Straight Edge, we do what it takes to complete the mission on a daily basis. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, sometimes working at night and weekends will be required. So flexibility is key.Responsibilities:Complete work in a timely fashion.Follow instructions from Foreman/Superintendent.Loading and unloading of materials.Perform routine preventive maintenance.Operate equipment to perform line painting, asphalt crack filling, seal coating, asphalt and concrete paving.Communicate job status daily with the Foreman/Superintendent.Help maintain a safe, hazard-free job site.Additional tasks as required.Qualifications:Pay Rate of $13-$18 /hr is based on skill set & experience.A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a reliable mode of transportation.You are a self-motivated, critical thinker that likes to problem solve.You understand the importance of punctuality, organization, and attention to detail.Ability to work in a physically demanding role with lots of walking, bending, and lifting (up to 80lbs).Ability to work well independently unsupervised.Past experience with small engines (like lawnmowers) and/or paint sprayers is an asset.An Engineering educational background is an asset.Experience in line striping and/or pavement repair is an asset.Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields.Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.Ability to handle physical workload.Deadline and detail-oriented.Show initiative and willingness to learn.Benefits:Competitive wages and a flexible working schedule.A challenging, fun atmosphere with a great team.Training opportunities and advancement within the company.A ground floor opportunity with a significant enhancement for the right person.Incentives based on team performance.Straight Edge is committed to diversity in its workforce and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
