Entry Level Auditor (CPA Firm)We are accepting resumes for an Auditor who is looking for a public accounting firm that provides advancement opportunities and a team-oriented environment.Essential Functions:Perform audit testing activities, document processes, and findings; verify assets and liabilities in accordance with audit programs.Work on audit, review, and compilation engagement.Prepare financial statements, reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.Work on projects as needed by management.Preferred Qualifications:Broad conceptual judgment and initiative.Highly detail-oriented with the ability to focus.Ability to work independently Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and projects.Problem-solving skills.Computer literacy, specifically with Word, Excel, and paperless engagement software.Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including written and verbal.Professional appearance and demeanor.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.Valid driver’s license required.Required Education and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and actively working towards earning the required credits to sit for the CPA exam is required1 - 2 years of experience or recent college graduates with auditing internship experience in a professional services firm are preferred Full Benefits Package:Health, Dental, Vision Insurance.401k with Employer Match.Short Term Disability.Term Life Insurance Policy.Paid Vacation and Sick Time Accruals.Siepert & Co., LLP is a local, full-service accounting and advisory firm that hires the best people who have the desire, initiative, and skills to make a positive impact on clients and the community.
