We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Plymouth, Michigan. This full-time, hourly position offers competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and the chance to work in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. The Maintenance Technician will perform advanced maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, ensuring reliability and optimal performance in our manufacturing operations.Key Responsibilities:Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to repair and maintain machinery according to blueprints, manuals, and specifications.Perform preventive maintenance and advanced troubleshooting on plant equipment.Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues.Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.Document processes and ensure compliance with operational standards.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fluid dynamic systems.Skilled in troubleshooting, calibration, and preventive maintenance.Proficient in lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety practices.Hands-on experience with equipment monitoring, repair, and process documentation.Ability to train, mentor, and collaborate effectively with team members.Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy objects.Qualifications:Required:High school diploma or equivalent.5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Preferred:Powered Industrial Equipment Certification.Physical Requirements:Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.Stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and work in confined spaces.Push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.Work in noisy environments and from elevated platforms.This position can be direct hire or temp-to-hire - depending on the skillset of the candidate.
