Field Service Technician / MillwrightLocation: Rockville, VAASGCO Manufacturing, Inc., a manufacturer and turn-key service provider of bulk material handling equipment, including conveyor systems, conveyor components, screens and wear parts to the aggregate, cement, wood, pulp, paper, recycling and other bulk material handling industries.We are looking for Field Service / Conveyor Belt Technicians/Maintenance/Millwrights to install, service and repair conveyor belts and components, motors and who have experience on Industrial jobsites, including Aggregate, Asphalt, Bulk Shipping Terminals, Ready-mix, Quarries and other types of Industrial / Manufacturing plants. We provide in-house training programs for advancement. Any construction or millwright type jobs including steel fabrication, welding, proper rigging techniques and any conveyor experience is a plus.SIGN-ON BONUS $1500Job Duties and Responsibilities:Install new, change out, repair or splice conveyor beltDemonstrate proper safe use of handling of tools, equipment and materialsMust be mechanically inclinedFollows instructions under the leadership of the Crew Lead to ensure all aspects of the job are covered to avoid any time-consuming delays as well as hazard and/or task training that may be required before the task beginsEnsures equipment is maintained in proper working order to avoid injury and work areas are kept clean/free of hazards which may endanger the health/safety of any employeeTake part of our Conveyor Technician training programs for advancementBe willing and able to work a variety of schedules on-call, including dayshift, nightshift and weekendsComply with all policies and procedures in Employee HandbookRequirements:High School Diploma or GED, preferredReliable transportation/ Active Drivers LicenseVery Hands-on mechanically.  Millwright experience a plus +Regular and punctual attendanceAbility to travelEffective communication is requiredMust be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independentlyJob duties will be performed underground and on surface, those interested must be able to obtain all applicable Federal and State underground and surface certifications, successfully complete industry approved training courses.Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background checkMust be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires Opportunities:Weekly PaySign- on BonusOver- time (any shift over 8 hours* and all Saturday shifts)Double- time (all Sunday shifts)Travel time, hotel, and food* paid forTraining Programs (ASGCO Conveyor Technician Program)Paid Time OffMedical, Dental & Vision401k & company match*Life Insurance - Company PaidVoluntary Life Insurance / AD&DLegal Shield / ID TheftIs it Right for You?We are looking for reliable, highly motivated, qualified individuals with a good track record, someone looking for a future within the company, and are willing to put the time in.
