The JCC in Miami, Fl is looking for an AMAZING Pilates InstructorThe Reformer Pilates / Group Fitness Instructor will teach classes that are aimed at improving the overall fitness levels of our members. Ideal candidate will be a great motivator, always striving to improve the overall fitness levels of our members.Job Duties:Teach Pilates methodology in a group or one to one setting.Plan and execute classes for all levels of fitness using proper form and safe methods.Create programming to attract and retain membership.Maintains working knowledge of wellness and trends to provide effective information and support to members.Ensures that all necessary equipment is set up for class, and inspect equipment to be sure that it is in safe working order.Responsible for studio tidiness and returning equipment to standards set by the fitness center.Records attendance and/or Checks-in participants in order to maintain attendance for each class.Ensures that there is a substitute instructor if you are unable to teach your assigned class.Qualifications:Nationally recognized comprehensive Pilates Certification.Must have National Certification, CPR/AED certification.Experience teaching 6 or more participants in an apparatus based group fitness class.Ability to demonstrate Reformer equipment use for exercise training.Awareness of proper body mechanics to prevent injury.Experience:Pilates: 1 Year. (Preferred).Group Fitness: 1 Year. (Preferred).License/Certification:CPR/AED Certification. (Required or willing to obtain).Pilates Certification. (Required).
