Empire Coach Line, a leading provider of Motorcoach transportation, is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of diesel motorcoaches, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and in excellent operating condition. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.Responsibilities:Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on diesel motor coaches, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systemsTroubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and develop effective solutions to repair themPerform inspections, preventative maintenance, and regular servicing of motor coaches in compliance with DOT regulations and manufacturer's specificationsKeep accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent on each taskMaintain a clean and organized shop environmentCommunicate effectively with other mechanics, drivers, and management to ensure efficient and effective repair and maintenance of our fleetQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with experience working on motor coaches or other large vehiclesKnowledge of diesel engine systems, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systemsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagramsFamiliarity with diagnostic tools and equipmentStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively About Empire Coach Line: Empire Coach Line features a fleet of the finest European Charter Buses in Central and Southern Florida.
