This position is for 12+ months, with option of extension, and will be worked 97% remotely and 3% on-site in Madison, WI, as needed (Candidate must work CST business hours).If you are interested, please submit the following:Your current resumeYour hourly rateBelow is the job description – Resumes due ASAP –Job Description:Top Skills: Expert knowledge in enterprise-wide information architecture planningExpert-level knowledge of data modeling conceptsExpert-level knowledge of information security classification and categorizationExpert-level knowledge of Erwin Data Modeling softwareThe position will support data management efforts across the Bureau to standardize data modeling practices to better align data architecture with technology, application architecture and security needs.  The position will work closely with the database management and application development teams to enhance data interoperability and data integration efforts.  This position will play a lead role in establishing DCF’s data interoperability strategy as well as data classification and security framework.Ideal candidate will have the ability to be self-directed and able to work independently.   The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication and will have experience creating and documenting technical processes and standards.Position requires a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has 10 or more years of experience with large and complex database management systems, business intelligence tools and applications.Ideal candidate will have additional skills and experience in the following areas: Implementing data management standards to ensure consistency in the metadata categories within the data models.Produce and enforce database development standards and ensure consistency across all of the data models within DCF business intelligence.Design, maintain and develop database architecture as well as conceptual, logical and physical data models.  Ensure that all relevant aspects of data model (granularity, etc.) are taken into account.
